Certified Speed and Agility Coach
For as long as I can remember, I have been a competitive athlete. Growing up, I played football, baseball, softball, and threw in track and field. While attending Carroll College I was a member of two national championship football teams; however, once my football career ended, I felt lost as an athlete. In 2010 while attending the Mayo Clinic School of Health Science a classmate recommended I try CrossFit. I was instantly hooked! The focus of my workouts shifted, and I evolved as an athlete. In 2015 I received my CrossFit Level 1 Trainer Certification and have been coaching ever since. As a physical therapist, I am well-versed in mobility and flexibility and look forward to working with athletes of all abilities to help them move with safety and efficacy to achieve all of their CrossFit and fitness goals.
I CrossFit because… I love the CrossFit community! CrossFit is about camaraderie, teamwork, and universal celebration of hard work and accomplishment. The CrossFit community is unlike any other that I have experienced.
I coach because… nothing replaces the feeling of witnessing an athlete perform to their highest potential. As a coach, you become invested in each of the athletes that you work with. It’s an emotional and rewarding experience to watch an athlete work hard to achieve their goals. Whether it’s a lifting PR or their first pull-up, nothing beats being a proud coach.
